Struttura Informatica keeps courses and seminars on dynamic simulation and the role it plays in the design and management of power plant based on solar thermal technology and more generally on production of energy from renewable and conventional sources. The courses are designed to enable the participants to use saac Dynamics platform in dealing with engineering problems related to the design or operation of a plant for power generation. Recently, thanks to the collaboration with the University of Florence, were organized courses for the Department of Energy Engineering “Luigi Stecco.”
The courses were held for students final year of degree: starting with an introduction about the usefulness of dynamic simulation was provided the basis for the use of the ISAAC Dynamics simulation platform to get to the development of a simulator of a plant complete CSP with molten salt storage.
The activity ended with a seminar in which  the operating procedures for the management and control of a CSP plant were shown by a dynamic model carried out with Isaac Dynamics. The courses were held by the eng.  Rosy Naso ( Senior Chemical Engineer ).
